Job Description
The Nursing Supervisor for the Emergency Dept, a Registered Nurse, supports the Director in twenty-four hour responsibility for the management and operation of the department. The Supervisor serves as a professional and clinical role model while being involved in direct care provision as needed and by supporting the Director in coordinating the operations and functions of the unit. This includes supervisor of the charge nurse or coordinator, clinical and ancillary staff; supporting coordination of patient flow, scheduling, and daily tasks. The Supervisor assists and collaborates with the Director in assuring the quality of care provided which includes the supervision and direct management of patient care.
Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in the Emergency Dept.
Previous management and/or supervisory experience to include experience as a charge nurse.
BSN preferred or commitment to enroll in a BSN program within six (6) months of hire.
CEN certification is preferred and encouraged.
Must maintain RN license issued by the WA Department of Health.
Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification. Must provide verification of TNCC completion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
