Valet Supervisor

SUMMARY
In addition to performing all aspects of the Valet Attendant duties, the Valet Supervisor also acts as a liaison between the Valet Manager and the Valet staff for all valet and shuttle service operations by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
o Ensures valet attendants are properly informed and trained in all valet-related procedures prior to releasing the trainee to independent duty;
o Ensures that valet attendants abide by all safety guidelines while performing valet duties;
o Ensures valet equipment is properly maintained by performing scheduled preventative maintenance;
o Ensures company van is properly cleaned at all times and maintained according to preventative maintenance schedule;
o Ensures valet attendants are properly attired at all times;
o Ensures proper coordination of Shuttle needs for the Tribe and Casino;
o Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Six months to one year experience and/or training as Dual-Rate Supervisor or above. Must have clean drivers abstract. Ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick-shift) vehicles. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement is desired, but not a requirement.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add , subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
The Valet supervisor must possess a valid driver's license prior to start of job, in addition to being able to provide a clean driving record and proof of insurability. Also needs to be able to pass driving test that is administered in house.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk at a fast pace, talk or hear and occasionally sit. The team member frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Must be able to enter and exit vehicles without restrictions. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud from traffic noise, music and/or loud speakers.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
