Mechanical Assembler, part time
OVERALL PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
To build solar panels for leisure and marine industries by using professional soldering techniques to: assemble solar cells, mount them on a back sheet and insert a film using a sandwich process. To laminate the sandwich construction by using a heat and vacuum machine. All steps are based on industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize material storage areas.
Receive deliveries,
Inspect incoming materials to specifications,
Label materials, move and transfer materials to processing areas,
Assemble kit for processing
Enter data with 100% accuracy for computer and paper systems.
Maintain equipment and take preventative measures to ensure continuous operation
Document all activities.
Excellent attendance
Communication in English
WORK
Experience:
Assembly experience, sewing, or other detailed hand work
Building assembly by following directions
Soldering and wire harness experience, is a plus
Ability to work independently
Drug Free Workplace
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
