Responsibilities:
Ignite Major Events:
Unleash your creativity by crafting unforgettable experiences for our major events, such as the Wine Festival, Waterfront Festival, Bier on the Pier, Coastal Christmas, and more.
Mastermind event logistics, from budgeting and vendor relations to ticket sales and guest feedback.
Embrace your inner social media guru to ensure event listings are up-to-date and shareable across various platforms.
Create a buzz by engaging with sponsors and securing new partnerships.
Supercharge our events by coordinating volunteers and ensuring seamless operations.
Chamber Event Coordination:
Inject energy and excitement into our chamber events by planning engaging luncheons and finding captivating speakers.
Forge strong connections with our business community by recruiting hosts for Business After Hours and providing them with exceptional support.
Unlock new event opportunities in the shoulder season and evaluate their success.
Show appreciation for our incredible volunteers through unique recognition activities.
Keep the flow going by managing event and vendor invoices efficiently.
Dynamic Communications:
Collaborate on our bi-monthly newsletter, adding your creative touch and helping with distribution.
Curate captivating content for our social media accounts to keep our followers engaged and excited.
Be our ambassador in the community, promoting the Chamber and events to local businesses and committees.
Requirements:
