Responsibilities:
Ensure all residents are evaluated prior to residency or with change of condition to ensure services are delivered.
Communicate with residents, family, and staff on an as-needed basis to meet resident needs.
Screen, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Care Partner staff and activity staff in the Specified Care Area.
Complete care staff schedules to assure proper coverage to meet resident needs and according to budget.
Assist the Director of Health and Wellness in medication management.
Participate in the maintenance of resident records including review of documentation performed by resident assistants, monthly MAR reviews, setting up the new resident, and thinning records appropriately.
Participate in community functions including family socials and open houses.
Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.
Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors! High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
An associate or Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred in a field related to the position.
Must have proven management experience and the ability to manage staff.
Minimum three years experience in assisted living preferred.
Experience with medication pass and certified as Med Aide as required by state law.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange, preferred).
Must meet all health requirements, including TB.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
