The training program prepares individuals with the information and the experience needed to provide quality care for residents in assisted living facilities.
Day shift CNA classes are available in which students learn in a hands-on environment under the eyes of caring and professional nurses, bolstered by a developed curriculum that meets or exceeds state standards.
The program places a high emphasis on learning excellent communications skills and the art of caregiving to provide compassionate care for people in the health care system.
Through lectures, DVDs, role-playing, and laboratory practice, students learn procedural skills such as vital signs, bathing, dressing, and positioning.
The classroom is equipped with hospital beds and medical equipment to practice skills prior to clinical rotation.

Requirements:
Pre-employment interview & background check is required.
Ability to work as caregiver before receiving Home Care Aide (HCA) status.
Must be available to work all shifts:
days, evenings, nights, and weekend shifts.
Training is offered to non-licensed care staff meeting certain criteria.
Rosario Assisted Living requires a commitment of one year of full-time employment after the certification is completed (forgiveness period), which must be repaid if terminated for any reason during the forgiveness period.
